At the time as a new start-up I knew one thing I needed to get up and running was promoting my business, getting myself out there and known and getting clients. Quite which methods would/wouldn’t work was going to be experimental initially.

 

Amanda really helped in those first initial months to ascertain and try out different ways of getting our business out there. It was also helpful during that experimental period for Amanda to get a handle on our key messages and give time for her to understand our business, the language and where we were going to get clients from.  As we are an organisation that essentially is relevant to all workplaces, that doesn’t mean that 1. Budgets have been set aside for mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and 2. The business is ‘ready’ to have us in to deliver our services.

 

The last couple of years have been amazing, as Amanda has been able to use her own enhanced skills (Adwords, SEO, graphics etc.) to help us not only with marketing but encouraging conversations around mental health and to normalise that looking after ourselves physically as well as mentally is the right thing to do. It not only benefits people in the workplace but improves wellbeing outside too.  This has meant that more and more people are engaging with us and getting in touch.  Our new leaflets and flyers have also worked really well for us as we make sure they are available at all courses and many people pick them up to take away. Word-of-mouth is our biggest referral, so I think they have played a part in that.

 

The imagery and graphics have been a game changer on social media and the wellbeing tips are great.
